Mystery Cube expects visitors/players/customers not to disclose any details of the game/mission directly or indirectly to the public.

The Mystery Cube is a live escape game (otherwised referred to as a Cube Mission or Mission).

The game/mission is designed for a team of 2-6 people to play simultaneously.

No recordings can be made or photographs taken inside the Cube. Use of mobile phones, cameras and any recording devices (audio, video) is not permitted inside the Cube.

Bringing any object which endangers the physical safety of yourself and others is prohibited.

If Visitors breach rules stated on the website, in these Terms and conditions or explained in the briefing given at the beginning of the game, they can be required to leave the Cube immediately. This is at the discrection of Mystery Cube staff. There is no refund to be claimed if this occurs.

Food and drinks are not permitted inside the Cube.

Entry to a Mission may be refused if a customer is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Such decisions are at the discretion of Mystery Cube staff and no refund or reschedule can be claimed. Any damage to the Mystery Cube, or its contents, caused by the Visitor/Guest/Customer can be charged to that person if it is caused by misuse of an item, not following the instructions/rules or deliberate action or intent.

Teams are required to arrive 15 minutes before the booked time. This is to provide sufficient time to receive a briefing and any other relevant information and rules about the Mission before entering the Cube.

Each team will be instructed before their Cube-Mission in a briefing by a member of Mystery Cube staff. After having the rules of the event explained, each attendee will participate in the event at their own risk. Mystery Cube is not liable for any personal or equipment damages caused by not following the rules described before the event or indicated during the session in the escape room by signs or communication from staff.

Age range for Mystery Cube Missions – The minimum permitted age is 11 years and at least one adult (18+) must be in the group.

If your group include one or more people below 11 years of age: Please be advised that whilst under-11s can and do enjoy the Mystery Cube experience, it is aimed at our specified age range. Therefore we are not responsible for tailoring the experience to younger participants.

The person who place the booking will be liable for any damage caused to Mystery Cube or its contents even if you are booking this Mission on behalf of someone else or will not be participating for any other reason.

Mystery Cube staff reserve the right to stop a Mission entirely or remove specific individuals from the Mission at any time if behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

Although this is an escape game, you can ask to leave at any time. Mystery Cube will not allow extra time to be added because of breaks taken. Please be advised that leaving the escape room other than by successfully escaping may spoil the atmoshere of the Mission. Mystery Cube will not be responsible for any effect that leaving the Cube has on the enjoyment of, or success of, the Mission. There is an opportunity to use toilets before the Mission starts.

Booking and price

The language for contract, booking and the website is English only. The briefing and the Mission will be managed only in English.

You have to be over 18 to make a booking for a Mission.

You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Online Booking Form.

One person is responsible for the booking. You are required to provide your full name, e-mail address and telephone number to complete your booking. The person who made the booking must attend the Mission. You must contact us in advance if this is not possible (or if you wish to buy it for a present for someone else) and we will amend the booking subject to all other terms and conditions being met, e.g. age requirements. When you arrive for your Mission you will be asked to confirm the name of the person who made the booking and you may be asked for additional booking information such as email address or telephone number.

The person who books a Mission is entirely responsible for the accuracy and truth of details given during booking. Mystery Cube will not be responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect details being provided either deliberately or unintentionally by a customer.

The price is set according to number of people within the same booking slot/ Mission (2- 6 persons). You can find our detailed price range on our website in the booking section. Mystery Cube reserve the right to change these prices at any time but will not apply any such changes to previously confirmed bookings.

Bookings can be made only online and only on the Mystery Cube website.

The only accepted payment method is via Worldpay. When paying through Worldpay you can use a credit/debit card.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. No reservations are accepted.

The Mission is a live escape game. After your booking is confirmed you cannot cancel or reschedule your Mission. We will not give any refund to you in that case. Should you be unable to attend your booked slot or wish to make any changes please contact us in advance and we will try to offer you a different date and time. Mystery Cube will not give any discount or refund if fewer people attend a Mission than were originally booked. Should you wish to add more people to your Mission after the booking is confirmed then this will require payment of an Additional Person Charge for each additional person. The cost of the Additional Person Charge is listed on the Bookings page of the website and may be varied by Mystery Cube at any time. The maximum group-size including additional people is still 6, as per Terms and Conditions. Payment of Additional Person Charges must be paid in advance by following the booking process again but this time select Additional Person Fee and choose an available 4am slot as WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If you arrive with extra people and have not paid the fee you will be asked to pay it online before your Mission can commence. As we are a scheduled live event please be aware that the delay caused by doing the payment when you arrive could shorten your Mission time. Therefore we advise that you do this payment prior to arrival.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings and will refund ticket costs only or offer an alternative slot.

Bookings are confirmed only by email and after payment has been made.

You may only transfer a booking to another person with permission from Mystery Cube. Permission must be sought at least three hours prior to the booked start time. Mystery Cube reserve the right to refuse your request. Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial gain or profit. Any bookings transferred for this purpose will be cancelled and persons attending the booked Mission will be refused admission

As previously stated, please arrive 15 minutes before your booked start time for a short Mission Briefing. Be punctual – if you are late you use your own Mission time as the next time slot cannot be delayed.

If the team or a team member has not arrived by the booked start time then they must arrive no later than 30 minutes after the booking start-time to still be able to enter the Cube. If you are more than 30 minutes late Mystery Cube staff reserve the right to grant or refuse admission to the Cube to start your Mission or, in the case of a team starting without a late-comer, to join a Mission that has already started. When a team is more than 30 minutes late and the booking has been voided by Mystery Cube staff there will be no refund of the booking fee and the booking will not be rescheduled.

Photos taken of the team

Mystery Cube staff may take photos of you before and/or after the Mission.

We reserve the right to upload these photos to the Mystery Cube website or Mystery Cube pages on social media sites and will not disclose Customer names when we do so.
